چکیده
Abstract Background According to 4th Universal Definition of Myocardial Infarction (MI), it is possible differentiate clinically type 2 MI (T2MI) from 1 (T1MI) and acute myocardial injury (AMI). However, in many cases this differentiation may be difficult. To date there are poor data that allow distinguish AMI, T2MI T1MI the changes absolute or relative values biomarkers necrosis. We sought compare vs AMI terms cardiac changes. Methods we consecutively enrolled 90 patients (30 with T1MI, 30 AMI). excluding ST-segment elevation infarction. The ratio peak upper limit normal (RULN) were calculated for both CK-MB troponin T (cTnT). Moreover, cTnT was also calculated. Results peak/RULN cTnI significantly higher comparison (cTnI 100.8 67.1, p < 0.001; 2.1 0.66, 0.003) while not significant differences between (T2MI 67.1 47.3., 0.159; 0.66 0.39, 0.052). Interstingly, a rise than compared infarction, so (T1MI 196.2 20.5, 0.008). Conclusions Both peaks T2MI. Furthermore, rises out proportion These contribute better T1MI.

Oxidised LDL in Acute Myocardial Infarction: A Case-Control Study
Introduction: The metabolism of many fats, including free fatty acids and oxidized low density lipoprotein (ox-LDL) play an important role in the development of atherosclerosis. The aim of this study was to determine the association between circulating ox-LDL and acute myocardial infarction. Materials and Methods: The case control study conducted on 43 patients with acute myocardial infarction ...

Background: Pre-clinical investigation of stem cells for repairing damaged myocardium predominantly used rodents, however large animals have cardiac circulation closely resembling the human heart. The aim of this study was to evaluate whether SPECT/CT myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI) could be used for assessing sheep myocardium following an acute myocardial infarction (MI) and response to int...
متن کاملRapid Diagnosis of Acute Myocardial Infarction
To improve the specificity of biochemical markers of myocardial infarction (MI) a method to measure cardiac troponin-I (CTn-I) was developed. CTn-I is a protein unique to cardiac muscle and is released after MI. Consecutive 150 patients admitted to the coronary care unit was studied. Value of CTn-I was determined in all samples. CTn-I concentration in the MI patients group was increased com...
متن کاملMyocardial damage of the entire ventricular region in a patient with acute myocardial infarction
Technetium-99m-pyrophosphate (99mTc-PYP) has been used, in combination with thallium-201, to estimate the site and extent of myocardial infarcts. We report a case of acute myocardial infarction with severe coronary disease in which the distribution of 99mTc-PYP was extensive. A 78-year-old man presented with dyspnea, and a diagnosis of non-ST-segment elevation acute myocar...
